MacKenzie was born and raised in Sarnia, Ontario. After graduating from St. Christopher’s Catholic Secondary School, she moved to London, Ontario where she obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Criminology (Hons.) from Western University in 2018. While at Western University, MacKenzie completed a semester abroad at the University of Southampton in Southampton, England. She then moved to Calgary, Alberta where she earned her Juris Doctorate from the University of Calgary in 2022. After earning her Juris Doctorate, MacKenzie articled at The Provincial Court of Alberta in Edmonton, Alberta where she clerked for the Honourable Judges in family, civil and criminal law areas.

MacKenzie was called to the Ontario Bar in 2023 and joined George Murray Shipley Bell LLP in May 2024. MacKenzie’s practice is focused on Real Estate, Wills & Estates and Corporate Commercial.

In her spare time, MacKenzie enjoys being active in the outdoors, reading and travelling to new places.
