Joshua is an associate lawyer at George Murray Shipley Bell, LLP who was called to the Bar in 2025.

Josh was born and raised in Sarnia, Ontario. He completed his undergraduate studies at King’s University College, earning a degree in history and philosophy. His academic background helped develop the critical thinking and reasoning skills that continue to inform his legal practice.

Josh went on to pursue his legal education through the Dual Juris Doctor program at the University of Windsor and the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude.

Josh began his legal career with George Murray Shipley Bell, LLP, first joining the firm as a summer student. He returned the following year to complete his Articling term with the firm, gaining valuable hands-on experience in a variety of legal areas and deepening his connection to the Sarnia legal community.

Outside of his legal work, Josh enjoys sports, music, movies, and spending time with his family and friends. His well-rounded interests and deep local roots contribute to a thoughtful, client-centered approach to the practice of law.
